Ms. Stacey – Lead Teacher Sunflowers

My name is Stacey and I am so excited to share my love for early childhood education as the co-lead teacher in the Sunflower room. I am thrilled to be working in such an incredible environment that supports the development of children in such a positive and fun way. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Miami in Special Education and Theater. I then went on to receive a graduate degree from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado where I studied psychology with an emphasis in wilderness therapy. While in school, I also trained to become a certified play therapist. During this time, I began bringing my knowledge and experience into the pre-school classroom and I knew it was the job for me!! Working with young children is extremely exciting for me as I assist in their social and emotional development. I also enjoy providing an opportunity to learn and grow in a fun and educational setting. I am devoted towards making a difference in the lives of children and am so happy that I can continue to share my inspiration with Sprouts Academy.

When I am not teaching, I spend my time going to yoga, seeing live music, and attending many theater and art shows. I love the outdoors and traveling to new, adventurous places. I find it very exciting to learn from other cultures throughout the world and from other individuals who have so much to teach me!
