Ms. Christina – Co-lead Redwoods

Hello Sprout Families!
My name is Christina DeGrado and I will be the new lead teacher in the Rock Star classroom. I am very eager to get to know all of you and work with your child this year! This will be my third year teaching. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I started my teaching career working as a kindergarten teaching assistant for two years. I then taught third grade in Oswego, IL. Last year, I decided to move from the suburbs to the city, where I taught first grade. In my free time, I enjoy running, going to the beach and playing with my nieces and nephew!
